Stockpile Reports has been in Australia the month of December, visiting clients and enjoying the country’s culture and hospitality.

Covering a total area of 7.69 million square kilometres, mainland Australia is the world’s largest island – but the smallest continent.

Australia is divided into six states and two territories. The states are New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and the largest by area is Western Australia.  Tasmania is separated from mainland Australia by Bass Strait and is the smallest state in Australia.

More than 80 per cent of Australian plants, mammals, reptiles and frogs are unique to it and are found no-where else. Some of the best-known animals are the kangaroo, koala, echidna, dingo, platypus, wallaby and wombat.

If you are planning a trip to Australia, the country’s website is a great place to begin your exploration. We will be returning to America in 2015. Here are a few photos we’re pleased to share with you.
